Michelle serves as the Coordinator of Children’s Ministries at our River Ridge Church-Trevor location. She grew up in a Christian home and has been a believer for as long as she can remember. As a child, she participated in Awana, Chums, Herd, and church musicals, and later began serving in the nursery at Hope Church as a teenager.

Michelle experienced a true awakening in her faith during college when she read The Purpose Driven Life and chose to write a paper on it. God spoke to her through that book, and she decided to be baptized as an adult. Since then, every moment of her life has been more meaningful and centered on God—including marrying her husband, becoming a stepmother to three children, and welcoming three more of their own together.

After getting married and moving, Michelle and her husband began searching for a new church home, and God led them to River Ridge Church. She started by helping in the nursery and later began teaching. When the Lord called them to help build a new church plant, they faithfully answered—even though it was difficult to leave so many people they loved and a church that felt like home. Through it all, the Lord has provided them with everything they need to make it work.
